In February I illustrated a portrait of my friend Ellie. At the time I was so proud, but it always bothered me that I designed it using bands of colour giving it a weird look. So I went back to it with the experience I've gained over the past few months to make it look more realistic. Now the old one looks awful. My technique still needs work, but I am happy with the result.
